My wife and I ordered two Jacked Up burger combos with seasoned fries. The food was great! Four star review because you have to go back to the ordering area to get a drink refill. Had to wait for two people to place their orders before I could ask for a refill. That’s a LONG time to wait when you’re thirsty! Other than that, great place to grab some grub!
I also get the shrimp and fish. It's always perfectly cooked every time. I only wish y'all made your own cocktail sauce. Service is always superb
Every time I come in here, I can smell the burgers grilling. I can see the staff working very efficiently and trying to get orders out as quickly as they can. They have a great selection when it comes to shakes, Burgers, Sandwiches, and ice cream. There is always a smiling face and a welcoming appeal. It's an old-school dinner feel that will have you ready to come the very next day. I highly recommend it!
Passing through town around lunch time and found this place. What a gem! It's exactly what you think of when you think of an old fashioned burger joint. The ladies at the counter were friendly, the food was fresh and homemade. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and my hubby got the burger, we upgraded to a combo with fries and drinks. After I paid but before I sat down to wait for my order, someone else's food order came up, and I saw their onion rings, I should have gotten the onion rings! They looked delicious, hand cut to order. Our food was hot & fresh and prepared reasonably quickly. Extra points given because the chicken breast was fully cooked and not dried out. It's a small seating area tables lined up around the room and a few in the middle. The next time we are in the area we will stop there again.
I've been coming here with my mom since I was a kid! It had been a couple of years since I had been here, and I drive 18 wheelers for a living out of town, so I decided to come through during my home time. Let's just say, it did not disappoint! The best food in Livingston Parish hands down. Their fish Po Boy is the best in the state. It's even good cold after you put it in the refrigerator for the next morning. I took a few pictures to show how delicious it looks and trust me it tastes even better in person. The ice cream looks beautiful whenever it comes out, but the picture I have down here is of a 32 oz and I destroyed it. That's all that's left and you can see how good the swirl looks. The ladies inside are the best! They make you feel right at home and they even remembered me from when I was a kid. They asked about my family, including my mother and my brother, and they made it feel like I never skipped a beat from the last time I was in here. I used to come here and get sweet tea with my buddy Jordan Martin all the time. They have some of the best soft served ice cream on the planet and their sweet tea is second to none. Their burgers are great as well! I ended up getting them two times back to back, yesterday and today. I got the fish Po Boy again and it was a 10 out of 10
